Things are flowing at JGP

Been awhile since my last blog. Since then, quiet a bid has gone on at John Gause Plumbing. We have hired on another apprentice and now hiring for tradesman and Journeyman plumbers to work in the Bryan College Station area.

Brew tanks at a brew pub we did     We started on a new brew pub in Northgate that I am sure will be a big hit. Its called Blackwater Draw. These guys have a great set up. And there food tastes GREAT! They have designed some of the coolest tap handles I think I have ever seen.

Jetter Services and french drains

Its been over a week since I have shared any plumbing knowledge with our Bryan-College Station area. I have been thinking all week about quality current topics. Then it hit me. It was a swarm of yellow jackets! After being stung on the back while I high tailed it away I decided this was a sign to talk about cleaning yard drains. The yellow jackets were living in a french drain system that I was inspecting for a cleaning. I have the perfect plumbers weapon for those guys. A jet machine that operates 4000 PSI at 15 gal per minute and can reach 700 feet in a drain system.

A/C Season

We have made it to the end of another relaxing weekend. My last blog was about the upcoming benefit. We had a good turn out the first couple of hours, but I think the heat really hampered the turn out later in the day. All that aside, it was great. We had plenty of food. Thanks to Caju-Tex for cooking for us. I'm very fortunate to live in such a strong community.

John Gause Plumbing does all types of drains
The past week was very busy. It seems that the time of year has come when plumbers see lots of air conditioner main drains clogged.

Benefit for Firefighter Mitch Moran and Brazos County PCT4 VFD

We are only days away from a wonderful event. John Gause Plumbing is helping to sponsor a fundraiser for Mitch Moran and PCT 4 fire department. Pct 4 has an old engine they are restoring and I am told Mitch is part of this project. The firefighters  want to get the engine complete more than ever. I was approached by Krista DeVries, wife of one of there members of PCT 4 and she shared with me the desire to organize an event for Mitch and the truck. As a fellow firefighter I could not say no and it began.
